The wonderful thing about fishing is that you can take it to any level you wish and with a resonable level of knowledge about fishing and a good common sense approach you can typically fish a wide range of species in many areas across the country.

However, if you have never fished before, or have perhaps tried fishing a couple of times, the prospect can appear daunting and often intimidating as there seems an endless list of gear, species of fish, expanses of water, etc. to master.

But it's not hard at all to learn the basics and get fishing!
